You might imagine that all roads up here (Moray Firth) are blocked by snow. The precipitation has fallen in scattered showers and as rain on the coast where the [nearby] sea temperature is around 10C. Hills inland are snow covered.
The main feature today was the wind chill. I was able to tolerate the cold for just five minutes, long enough to show the churning sea at Burghead.

1cm here on Thursday morning and a further 5cm this morning. Today's snow cover is the sort that squeaks as you walk over it. Good for making snowballs. Snowing again this later afternoon.
