This autumn's anticyclonic tendencies

There might be around four days cyclonic interruption to the current anticyclonic E'ly that have been around for a week now, but the latest GFS out to T+384 is predominantly anticyclonic over the British Isles. The next series of lows is pushed away SE'ward as a large high builds across central Russia and ridges out to a high which builds to the SW of Ireland, behind the lows.

Anticyclones are a bit like busses, you wait for one for what seems like months, and then three arrive in quick succession, and by the look of it this is a warm one.
