Hi everyone,

I'm looking for testers for my new Wear OS (smartwatch) app, Wear Dice, to fulfill the closed testing requirement.

Wear Dice is a simple and fun app for Android watches that lets you roll a virtual dice right from your wrist. You can customize the dice with different colors and keep track of your previous rolls with a built-in history.

Since this is a Wear OS-only app, it will not run on phones or tablets. After opting in, please make sure to select your connected smartwatch to install the app.

You can join the test here:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.naviwebs.app.weardice

If you’re willing to help a bit more, I would also really appreciate it if you could install and test my other apps currently in closed testing:

I am more than happy to test your apps in return! If you opt in, feel free to reply with your own testing links (Google Group and Play Store links), and I will install your app as well.

Thank you so much for your support!

I installed this one CoolWind! It worked this time.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for testers for my new Wear OS watch face, Orion Premium, to fulfill Google Play's closed testing requirements.

Orion Premium is a sleek, modern, and customizable watch face designed to give your smartwatch a premium look with high readability and essential complications right at a glance.

Since this is designed specifically for Wear OS devices, please make sure to select your connected smartwatch to install the app after opting in.

📌 Join the test and download here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xtremefaces.orion.premium.companion

Tested on my pixel watch 3 running WearOS 7. The app works but I do have some notes.
  • I recommend forcing the landing to be on a clear face; I've had rolls where its between 2 or 3 numbers and it feels like the app randomly selects one.
  • A complication would be good; it could roll right on the face
Appreciate it if you would  be willing to test  Regatta Timer — race start timer for Wear OS

Thank you very much John.

I'll take into account your suggestions.

I've tried to opt in to your app testing with no success (App not available - A testing version of this app hasn't been published yet or isn't available for this account).
I've installed directly from the APK on Github, and no problem at all.

Thanks CoolWind,

I added your email to the testers list so it should work now. You may have to uninstall the sideloaded app, not sure. One general question if you don't mind. Users visiting the play store link from mobile get a not compatible message while visiting from the PC allows you to select and install on the watch. My searching has not yielded a solution to install via mobile app and it seems to be googles expected behavior but I figured it's worth asking someone who's been around wearos development longer.

Ok, removed the APK installation and used your Play Store link successfully.

I can't say with complete confidence, but my understanding is that when a user opens a Play Store web link on mobile, the Play Store app usually takes over and redirects them to the appropriate screen within the app.

I've tried with my app and it worked like that, check the screenshot.
