Reminder for WIRED Meeting: Tuesday, September 24th 6:30 EHS Room 80

Hey, everyone.

Just a reminder of our next WIRED meeting on Tuesday, September 24th at 6:30 in Room 80.

I've attached a proposed agenda here.  Please feel free to email back with suggestions and comments.

We've had some interest by female students to attend the meeting. Wondering if Jim could help us by sending this email to female FRC students?  New and past members?  I think I can get the FTC female member emails from Ron.  That being said, any male students, mentors or parents who are passionate about this topic are certainly encouraged to attend.

Also, we've had great participation in the Female Student Survey.  47 - 7th through 12th graders have taken the survey so far.  I plan to close the link down Monday in time for us to review this information on Tuesday.  Thanks to all who helped promote it.  

Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday.  If you can't attend and have suggestions to pass along, please feel free to share those suggestions with me.  (Feels good to help with this effort as I so appreciate all you guys have done.  Time for me to pitch in.)

To all WIRED,

I will be at the meeting on Sept 24 but will be arriving late so I wanted to send a quick note to let you all know that we are planning the Shop Training Intro (for females only) for Saturday, September 28th from 11 AM to 2 PM.  Christina and Taegan will be leading the training.  We will be getting an invite out soon and it will include the girls on Team 2220, Green Girls FTC, any other girls in FTC and the WIRED group.

Can someone find out if this date will work for the Green Girls FTC team?  And can someone provide email addresses for this group?  Or we can send the invite to the coaches and have them forward it to the team.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Jenny and I are double booked that night. We have been asked to help collect funds for the FTC teams and to also be present at the FRC recruitment night. I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it at all but I'm sure if we can spare the time we will stop by.

If it's possible, if you have any updates, could you send them my way?   I'll make sure to share them with the group. , Jenny,  if you have any updates about the all girls Rube Goldberg event,  that would be great to get on a list of upcoming events for females. 

You'll be missed.   I already ribbed someone about asking you to help DOC after you were already busy ;)
