TXT2014: Teens eXperiencing Technical education at Dakota County Technical College is an interactive program for girls in grades 5-7 in Fall 2014.

DCTC faculty in transportation, industry, technology, science, health, design and business programs create hands-on workshops that provide participants the chance to experience technical education and career fields.

The program will be held July 28-August 1, 2014 from 9am-2pm each day.

Lunch will be provided, however if your daughter has any food allergies or sensitivities we ask that you send a lunch from home (no refrigeration available).

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the camp each day.

The cost for the week-long program is $50.  Partial scholarships are available.

Online registration begins Monday, May 5, 2014 at 9am.   Go to www.dctc.edu/go/txt to complete online registration form.

Registration is a two-step process:  The initial online registration indicates your intent to attend the camp.

After registering online, you will receive a packet of additional forms via email that require signatures.

The forms and payment for the camp must be mailed or dropped off at DCTC before your registration is complete.   Please return forms within 7-10 days.

The maximum participants: 200

After online registrations have reached 200, the registration will go to wait list status.

Please note: Due to the volume of participants, workshop groups will be randomly assigned. We cannot/will not promise your daughter will be in the same group as their friends/sisters/relatives etc.
