hey everyone,

So the owner of felix kulpa is being a pain in the ass. He wants to
move the show to October of next year. I'm personally opposed to that.
I am trying to find other galleries that will host our show. If anyone
knows of a venue, let me know, otherwise I will keep you all informed.
Keep working, and if you're done, hold on to your pieces for now.

We will find a venue eventually, do not worry!

Hi Louise,
Have you thought about kickback cafe on soquel and seabright? The guy who owns the place is super laid back and there is usually a good turn out to their events. Just a thought, hope to see you sometime soon.

I have a huge outdoor parking lot at my place in Oakland. What about an outdoor show there? Weird idea, but maybe.

I would be down to put something in a show for sure! I remember talking with about a show last year, but I have sorta fallen out of the loop. When do you need the pieces? Santa Cruz is really cool, but I need to decide what to do come June. How is Los Angeles? I am at my family's house in palos verdes right now. The rain is insane for LA! Big bummer on the show, I do have a prospective spot in sf. The only
problem I see actually with getting this space is the fact that it's
in sf and the size is so much smaller than Felix. I am the curator for
a gallery space at this multidisciplinary art space/ studio recording
space in the soma district of sf. Their website is bammtv.com I
believe if that's not it just google the name ok? Let me know what
your thinking, and I'll start working to make this happen. Oh and the
date can be very flexible, considering I'm the curator. But I'd love
to couple this art show with a music show I want to put on as well, so
hopefully we could make this still all go through in February

Thanks Mary! That sounds like a great venue. Subrosa also offered their space for the show, but thats an even smaller venue. I'm not worried about the size at the moment because we can make it work either way, but the space in SF looks quite nice. Mary, if you could get that to work that would be awesome!! What kind of music show are you trying to put on? Perhaps if we work together it could be twice as big and twice as successful!

I like to work hard on shit like this so, I mean let's do it big if we
doin it you know girl! The music is a pre established show that was
supposed to happen on nye but couldn't work for numerous reasons. I
havent talked to the bands involved at all and not even sure they are
all still down to even play this venue anymore. Sick, sick lineup
though, I'll tell you more details when I can confirm their interested
still. If the music dosnt work I'd love to set some band stuff up with
you, and everyone. The next step now that your at least interested in
this space would be to email bamm and ask what a good date would be to
have our opening, and email the event planner for the music portion of
the show. If this were to go down, I feel it would be a big deal,
actually, and exciting for everyone involved! I'll work on it starting
tomorrow.

So I've contacted BAMM this past week and they are definitely into
having a show feb. I think it's 100% safe to say it's going to happen
so if your into this, please let everyone know the scoop and also that
were shooting for mid feb, thanks darlin. I'll tell you more details
the more I find out but what's most important is for everyone to
continue working,

sorry sorry. people are confused because all the emails i send back out to individual questions get sent to all of you in the google group, my apologies. i will try to send emails directly to those who ask personal questions. 

FOR ALL OF YOU:
the date for the show is not solidified but we are working on a date in the beginning of march (4th or 5th) at a venue called BAMM TV in the soma district in sf. I am visiting the venue this week to get the full details and specs, so i will get back to all of you when i have more info.
