Update, finally!

Wow, it's been quite a while since we conceived of this art show (a
whole year ago). Since then this google group has been moving slower
than molasses. No worries, let's just dust it off and recharge!

So, the most important new development is that the show is set for
<strong>February 4th, 2011</strong>. It will be part of the Santa Cruz
first fridays art crawl, so we'll be getting quite some exposure if we
play our cards right. Felix Kulpa Gallery is a fixture in Santa Cruz
anyway, so it'll get some traffic regardless.

Second most important thing (almost as important as the first) is the
submission deadline, that'll be <strong>January 10th, 2010</strong>,
so basically that's the first week of january. Please, please, please
don't send in anything later because I want to put together a nice
little book with all of our drawings/paintings/sculptures for the
show. I will remind you all when the date comes closer to finish up
the work.

As for the artwork itself, there are no limitations to size or medium.
Just remember that this is a GROUP show, so don't make boat loads of
work that will take up half the gallery. The gallery is rather large
with a lot of wall space though, so go big if you'd like. Also,
sculpture is fine, but large 3D pieces don't move as well (literally,
haha). Keep in mind that there will be a lot of prospective
collectors, so if you want to sell work, make more smaller and
affordable pieces. Just think about the theme "We are all animals".
