Afterinstalling Dropbox on a new laptop with Windows 11, I cannot access the log-in page...links such as
dropbox.com/home,
dropbox.com/support, etc. only produce the upper left logo and cookies notice at the bottom, and all else is blank white. There is no log-in link. I can access my account through the taskbar icon, but once I sign out to log into another Dropbox account, all I get is the blank page described above.
I do not have this problem with other machines running Windows 10.
After a frustrating weekend (which included a hurricane here in Florida) I took the plunge and used Windows 11 Cloud Restore. Whatever setting may have been incorrectly set or whatever file may have been corrected, the computer immediately connected with my Dropbox accounts and I was back in business.

Your suggestion makes sense. I have disabled the anti-virus and firewall but nothing changed. There is no VPN at play. Your homepage appears just fine but when I click to log-in, the sign-in page is essentially blank. I am open to any other suggestions you may have.

Attached is a screenshot of the display after I click to Sign In from the home page. In other words, using my browsers (Edge or Chrome) and taking
dropbox.com I am arriving at the site's homepage display. Clicking on sign-in (upper right button link) produces the result of this screenprint. Clicking on the resultant Sign Up link just toggles to Sign In...no other screen changes.
In addition, if I right-click on the Dropbox app taskbar icon and click on the world globe icon to open Dropbox, I am logged into DB and have access. However, if I could sign out, I can not sign back in or change to another account I manage.
Hi @HKelley, it does sounds like there's something on this particular machine that is preventing you from accessing the Dropbox site fully. Some brief research has determined that other users get this issue with random sites after updating to Windows 11.
Since you're also experiencing an issue with another site entirely, this means that your machine is blocking the site on its own, since it's not visible using different browser, but on other machines on your network there aren't any issues.
Yes, I too have noticed it. Seems, it was some kind of glitch (seems in continuation), affecting browsers state (makes it inconsistent). Usually getting to and back from resets the state and everything gets back to work. Try it. It works for me.
I'm having the same problem. I open Dropbox, it goes to dropbox/home and it's totally blank. Just for yuks, I fired up Edge and went to
dropbox.com. Got the page. Hit sign in, entered creds, /home loaded fine. Yay! So I go to rewind a folder, and after clicking activity -> rewind, the rewind interface page loads annnnnnnnnnnnnd it's blank. !#@$%$%^&^%$&%^
Starting last night and continuing this morning when we go to our
dropbox.com/home page it returns a blank page. This is happening to several of us in different parts of the country. The solution seemed to be to just put
dropbox.com in the address bar and it would come up with
dropbox.com/work and that worked for some but not all.
It seems that since the system update there is an issue.
Not sure how to post without just clicking 'reply'. So, am sorry if I'm doing this wrong. Anyway -- yea, my dropbox is down, too. I've tried refresh... then closing all internet connections and starting up again... then shutting my computer completely down and rebooting. And all I get when I go to dropbox is a blank screen. I've done a google search to see if Dropbox has reported site issues ... and those all show that there's nothing wrong (but going by the number of people in this thread there are a LOT of people who are having the same problem). Dropbox really ought to post that they are having issues ... because without posting such it sort of looks like they don't want to admit it or are not looking at reports/postings of those having problems.
The issue is, I am not getting the login page but instead get a blank Global protect pop up page which otherwise will have the provisions to key in my login details. Since it blank page i am now unable key-in details/to connect to my client network via global protect software. This seems to me as some kind of cache issue but unable to fix it.
5.0.5 is a pretty old GlobalProtect release and went end of life last year, is this the current version that your company is deploying through their portal? I'd recommend asking them for a current agent that's actually under support.
This is the known issue. You can force global protect to use default browser instead of emlbeed browser. Make sure you have the default browser configure on app configuration. You can run below syntax to force default browser.
Why is it that it keeps occurring to me that when I get a new row of information (populated by a form) about 10 additional BLANK rows get instantly added on my main sheet? I have to keep deleting this manually and it's just adding a ton of manual work. Any explanations, solutions to this?
If the blank rows are between, it's because there was previously data in those rows and instead of deleting the row as a whole, the data was deleted from the cells, essentially leaving a blank row behind.
If the blank rows are after, what is the actual concern? These rows have no data so would not impact reporting, formulas, etc. You can see they are not really rows if you have any sort of automatic cells, like created date or auto-number, those cells are still blank.
Smartsheet will always maintain a minimum of 50 rows in a sheet or 10 blank rows. If you only have 20 rows, then the sheet will go down to 50. If you have more than 50 rows such as 100, then the sheet will go down to 110.
@Rodrigo Blotte, this can typically be resolved by simply adjusting your settings for this form to have new submissions appearing at the top of the sheet instead of the bottom. See below.
If they are populating between form entries, then you are not deleting the rows. You are only deleting the data out of the cells. Try deleting the rows by using the row menu (three vertical dots to the left of the row number).
I opened a support ticket, but I can't close this pop-up no matter what I click or what browser I use and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight. I'm LOCKED OUT of my work because of some stupid UI refresh alert. ?
What can I do now? Everything else in the desktop seems to work (Add window, Browse Window, Stats Window, creating a deck, creating a card, etc). I have big text files with about 60-70 cards that I want to import rather than manually creating cards
The next Anki version should show a pop-up when it encounters an error, instead of just a blank screen. In the mean time @zarinstar, please paste here what is shown in the console when you attempt to import that file.
This PC>Documents is likely a friendly name for a longer path like c:\users\my user\documents. Are you able to provide us with the exact path? Do you use OneDrive or something like DropBox for your documents folder?
So my original problem was when I was using files from C:\Users\Dar'ya\Dropbox\Languages\French where I work most of the time. I tried testing in C:\Users\Dar'ya\OneDrive\Documents as well with no success.
Did you update your AnKing recently? I did a bit of Google, and it seems like blank cards are a common-enough issue with AnKing/AnkiHub. Depending on the exact problem, it might be cured by installing a missing add-on or getting rid of empty cards.
Before we try to fix anything in your Anki, take a look at the different AnKing/AnkiHub issues to see which one matches yours, and whether the solutions proposed there (on their own forum, on reddit, etc.) work for you.
I believe you have to have some value for the header, but you could make it something small like just a single period. To create a blank column, just create a new field with a formula tool and put a set of double quotes as the value (which is an empty string).
You can improve your idea by making a column blank. When creating it just put this as a value "" you will not get information that you have an extra white space in your column(no red indicators on the top right corner of the cell).
Thank you this worked well. I guess my next question is now...when I have these blank columns, and I create a basic table, the table automatically hides the column or the width is so small as to look hidden. I tried to change the column width manually with a fixed width and also a percentage width, but neither of them worked. It still has a miniscule width. I even tried to put around 20 white spaces as the column name but it is still super small.
