Some evidence does at first glance appear to exist to support the first claim - that people who work longer die younger than those who retire early. As per the actuarial study, there is a relation between age of retirement and age of death. The chart indicates that those who retired at the age of 50, their average life span in 86, whereas for people retired at the age of 65, their average life span is only 66.8. |
