I am a Civil Engineer, engaged in engineering projects in the oil and
gas business. Personal passion is designing home layouts from a
functional point of view (which unfortunately our Architects seem to
ignore). Not an IT person, so can't help in technicalities of that
profession, though can be a very good beta tester with focus on ease
of use and functionality of a software. :)

Not to be confused with the group owner.
I originally thought of starting with a big bang, a sort-of no-
nonsense group of professionals based out of Kolkata but did not have
the resources. So, I created this common platform, to gather the
people sharing a common interest of helping out each other and
returning something back to society in a tangible, fast and subtle
way.
Its a group we need to carry forward, need volunteers
1. Who can compile ideas on how to go ahead
2. Who would provide ways out to have a better design of the group -
may be a forum, and, maintain member details.
3. Who would get other professionals into the group - the only thumb-
rule is that he must be a professional or a professional student.
LinkedIn, ecademy etc members but not just orkut and stuff. As them to
subscribe, mentioning the details in question.
A brief about me: "I'm an electrical Engineer by academics from JU,
and, into Information Technology by profession. Currently with ITC
InfoTech at Kolkata, staying with my wife and kid of 8. I'm leading
the Practice of EMS, a broader perspective of IT Service Management,
catering my services mainly to ITC. My interests include Music (any
good nos. - not genre or generation specific), Traveling (mountains,
forests and relics), scribbling and of course returning back nominally
to society."
Pls, introduce yourselves, and, volunteers - mail me at
Bas...@gmail.com
Thanks,
Basab (NANDI)
Till then ... take it easy folks
