has anyone used any of the paging plugins in todays post ?
there are so many - most use a variation of <ul><li>.... are there any
drawbacks to this?

Hey tia,

Yes, I've used a few of them, the best way is to use a list markup but you can also use divs and other tags but these are the most popular. As for drawbacks, none that i can see.

See here for how I went:

(tia == 'thanks in advance') :-)

i'm playing around with smartpaginator... i tried the dan-o and the jpaginator - both seriously conflicted with jquery-ui

i'm too new to jquery to be too creative (& comfortable), but if i can get this to populate with my jquery-tmpl okay, i may stick with it (smartpaginator) http://173.255.231.216/php/quotes/  <-- that's my playground for this if you want to see it.

thanks,
greg (a.k.a tia :-P)

i think i decided to stay with this pagination plugin... mainly
because it allows me to pick my data selector (default is 'div').

the only thing i would like to know how to do , is how to stablize the
vertical... seems to hop some as the pages-length of text- is
different...

also, this one that you suggested is probably the 'best of the crowd'
that use ul>li

Yeah it's definately the easiest to install. basically include the script which is only like 3kb and tell it what id the list is.

If you or anyone has experience with ajax, please critique my app.js. not sure how to reuse base components of .ajax()   def see a lot of redundancy .... Tia :-)
