As you know, earlier this year, I set up Purple Chilli with two objectives

1. Provide an avenue for smallholder farmers to dramatically improve their incomes and reduce risk, and
2. Delight consumers with the highest quality fresh produce that is fresh, safe, and wholesome

We have developed a technology and process suite wherein a farmer with just 1 acre of land can grow 20+ varieties of vegetables 365 days a year earning Rs 20,000-30,000 per month.  We have successfully proven this in our Learning and Demonstration farm in Ramanagram District, about 50Km outside Bangalore.

We are now working with farmers in the neighborhood to replicate the technology and process suite on their farms. To manage this program, we are looking for someone who is passionate about Indian agriculture and is excited about working with farmers.
