Subject: Genpact Social Impact Fellowship | Applications open

Dear Fellows,

Sharing with you an opportunity to work on some fantastic projects with some great non-profits. The Genpact Social Impact Fellowship opens up its applications for the second batch. It’s a one-year program run in partnership with EdelGive Foundation.

As part of GSIF, you will be deployed on projects with non-profits to work on:

  • Preparing strategy blueprints of scaling up of existing models. For example, the present GSIF team at Udayan Care is creating a blueprint to increase its reach to double the number of girls in the next five years
  • Identifying and deploying key output levers of existing programs to drive larger outcomes, similar to the GSIF team at Teach for India, which is developing a playbook for the program managers of TFI to increase the hours of instruction imparted to children
  • Re-engineering existing processes to make them more robust and sustainable like the transformation of public education system in Rajasthan being carried out by GSIF fellows at Kaivalya Education Foundation

The first batch of the program (2016-2017) consisted of 6 fellows and they’re already half way through their projects at TFI, KEF, and Udayan Care. They are leading their transformation journey leveraging process excellence skills. The scale of this program will double in 2017 and the applications will be open through February. The final GSIF fellows will be deployed at their projects in August 2017.
