I wouldn't mind a regular deck of cards, but with rearranged suits/
pictures and such. With the advent of the internet I almost never
play card games with actual cards and I used to play with my gran. I
get nostalgic for real cards sometimes.
I know nothing of Magic The Gathering cards, except that they exist.
I suppose if we're making up our own game/rules, that would be the
logical way to go.
A MtG-style deck will be considerably more work. While I'm not against
'more work', it's important that everyone knows the increased scope:
most likely a 200-card deck.
Of course there's many simple card games than MtG. We could have a
rummy style game, Uno, War, etc..
