I can help out with every step of the Project, and I have the time
too. :D
It's going to take a lot to pull this off, and will take MONTHS, so we
need to be sure we're in this for the long haul (and honestly, I'm
still not sure what sort of time I can commit). The book got down to
the nth hour and died on the spot, and I know that's soured a few of
us old timers from the big creative group project thing.
Not sure if this is helping any, just observations.
JP, you could ask Dweller if he'd be willing to put in his input.

This is why I wish people with even a passing interest in the Card
game to join the Group and take part. Alhough we're going to develop
the best card game we can make, we're not slamming on the Project
brakes for suggestions made weeks or months after considerable
discussion and efforts have been made. Think about it:
- As I learned from doing the graphics for the Boardie Awards one
year, there's roughly 130-150 active WE participants any given year
- If -- a big if, and only if the game mechanics favor this -- we
decide to make a card for every single WE participant, joke, meme, and
gameplay option, we're talking a 200 card deck!
- What this means, regardless if Group works on a personalized game or
a more generic "anyone can play the game and 'get it' " game, some
elements of the Board may not be used, everyone may not get their own
personalized card,... things like that. It wouldn't be done to
intentionally offend anyone, but it could happen.
Say the Group ends up consisting of eight Contributors (at the
meetings, actively doing stuff). The final game is going to be based
on the wit and abilities of those eight Contributors. Perhaps in a
moneymaking endeavor this is all the game Contributors you want, but
in a Project like this, the more Contributors and more variety the
better.
Am I making any sense? Bottom line is that if someone isn't involved,
we can't be held responsible for telepathically knowing what they
would want in a game. It's okay if individuals are hesitant about
getting involved (people have lives to live), but it's going to be
very difficult to slam things to a halt to add something after art and
script and gameplay are already developed.
*dons Uncle Sam hat and points*
That's why I NEED YOU to join the WE Card Project ASAP!
Besides, how freakin' cool would it be at a job interview to show off
your skills by dazzling them with a professional-looking card game
that you helped design? Polar-bear-in-a-white-Scarface-suit cool, for
sure.

But this isn't the H&T project. The is the World's End Card Project.
And as the Grand Poobah of WECP I will do what it takes to make it
succeed. This is too good of an idea to let slip into obscurity.
And I have NO idea what happened to my posts, and why they're out of
order. Weird.
---I feel that this might be a hidden asset somehow... being such a
talker as I've been known to be before.
CRAP-this took 5 minutes to write.
---------Just a heads up.-I will be a man of few words til I can get
home and get this fixed.
Cheers All!!.
I'm still checking out this group. Have we thought yet what kind of
card game we want. Like maybe something Apples to Apples like? We
can also add supplemental packs too that have say John Tesh like
posters and the masquerade posters. Just a random thought.
Melanie (Babylon the Bride) is taking Charge of the Art and Design Sub-
group, so we know the cards will look awesome. *thumbs up*
We're also looking to fill a few administrative roles, a Vice
President/Junior Emperor and Secretary to help with making things run
smoooooothly. Don't be afraid to PM me if interested.

We're throwing around ideas here and on the Board. Nothing fully
hashed out or discussed yet.
