This notice is to provide you with an update on your reported concern related to Chris Malcom in Willamette Park. This morning Mr. Malcom was issued a 30-day Civil Exclusion from Willamette Park/Crystal Lake Sports Fields for violations of the City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation Code of Conduct. This means that he is not allowed to be in that location at all (he is, however, currently allowed to be in other parks). If he does not comply with the terms of the exclusion, it may be grounds for further action, such as an illegal trespass violation. If you see Mr. Malcom at Willamette Park you are encouraged to report it to CPD Non-Emergency (541-766-6911, attn: Officer Hull) and/or our Parks Division Manager, Jude Geist (541-990-4276). It is advised to not initiate interaction with the individual.
Thank you for your patience as we worked to develop our action plan to address the concerns raised through various reports.
