Big news from Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon: We are hiring! Our current Executive Director is stepping down, and we are looking for the right person to lead our mission forward.
About the Role:
The Executive Director is SDRO’s only paid position—all other roles are filled by our amazing volunteers.
As you know, we are a grassroots organization with a passion for senior dogs. This is an opportunity to work with a team of dedicated volunteers making an impact on the lives of senior dogs and the people who love them. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a flexible, mission-driven environment, loves dogs, and wants to make a real difference every day.
This is a 20-hour per week, remote position with regularly scheduled in-person meetings and events in Corvallis/Albany and Eugene.
Requirements:
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Commitment to our mission of helping senior dogs
Oregon residency required (Linn/Benton County residents preferred)

SDRO’s Board and program volunteers are committed to a smooth and thoughtful transition. We will continue our regular operations and the high level of care we provide for every senior dog in our program.
