I am forwarding a reported hazard on the main path into Crystal Lake Sports Fields. The “Bearing Tree” Cottonwood is notorious for dropping limbs in rough weather. Please be aware of your surroundings. FYI - No one should be walking the River Trails during this ** Windstorm event.
HI Nance,
Could you please post on the neighborhood list & WDOG that
the cottonwood dropped a branch on the wires at the Crystal Lake
end and the branch is burning. Power popped off quickly, but folks
should NOT walk on the road, and I would advise going far around
in the parking lot in case the wire drops. The drive is blacked
off anyway due to potential flooding, but walkers need to take
care.
Thanks,
Linda J
