We are very pleased to advise that the Montrose Foundation Board of Trustees has awarded full sponsorship of 1 Caregiver Programme to Organisations in the Western Cape. The full sponsorship award is valued at R65 000.00

Caregiver Programme Overview:
The 10 week programme addresses the therapeutic aspect of “supporting the care giver” and providing additional skills to work with substance abusers and their affected families. The Programme consists of 10 consecutive weekly sessions. These sessions include the following methods of facilitation: equine facilitated learning and experiential personal growth.
Programme Outline:
Programme material and catering are provided throughout the duration of the course.
Guidance Criteria for Caregiver Programme Participant selection:
The selection of participants for enrolment in the Montrose Foundation Caregiver Programme is the responsibility of the Organsiation. We have provided a basic guideline to assist management in their selection criteria as follows:
1. Social Workers, Auxiliary Social Workers, Child and Youth Care Workers and Counsellors who actively serve respective NGOs and who work with Substance Abuse
2. Ideally the selected Caregiver would have the ability to transfer skills obtained from the Caregiver Programme to their peers
3. Would be able to contribute effectively to future programmes by identifying key role-players in the communities that can be developed
Programme Commencement Date: Friday 14 February 2014
Prospective participants are requested to complete and submit the attached Caregiver Application Form by Wednesday 05 February 2014.

We are very pleased to advise that the Montrose Foundation Board of Trustees has awarded full sponsorship of 1 Caregiver Programme to Organisations in the Cape Metropole. The full sponsorship award is valued at R12,500.00 per Caregiver.
Please see a brief Programme outline below as well as the Application Form and other relevant documentation attached. The attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is an example in order for the terms of sponsorship to be noted. On acceptance of applicants onto the Programme, an official MOU will be forwarded to you for a signature by an authorised person within the organization.
