Facing such urgent needs...

how can we do our personal best to bring about social change?

This is the question behind the creation of TRBLMKRS.  When we first met and started exchanging stories, we understood our experiences were quite different on the surface, yet so very similar underneath.  We had both dedicated our professional careers to international development efforts--to doing good in a world full of urgent needs. We had both found professional "success" in our chosen disciplines, being entrusted with responsibility for many millions of dollars that could impact many thousands of lives. We eventually both realized that social change requires more than vision, strategy, competence, and efficiency--social change also calls for bravery and it demands authenticity from the people engaged it bringing it about.

We created TRBLMKRS: Everyday Activists because we believe there are many more people just like us. We aim to build a community and network of like-minded people seeking to contribute their talents to social causes, and wishing to give their very best as they do so. And we believe that bravery and authenticity are at the heart of our practice of being everyday activists and constructive troublemakers.

Thank you for being a part of our growing network!

Kind regards,

--Jillian & Daniel, TRBLMKRS
