Never been to a WCU-TV 5 meeting??
ELECTIONS FOR WCU-TV 5 ARE THIS MONDAY @ 5:30 p.m. in SYKES 255
NO, IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY MEETINGS YOU HAVE BEEN TO THIS YEAR.
If you have ANY interest at all in being a leader....the WCU-TV 5 exec
board could be for you
The following positions are open:
President - General leadership of WCU-TV 5, organizing meetings, help
to overall shape the vision of the club and keep the pace going. Also
must have a strong knowledge of the control room, final cut pro, etc.
We will train you in this.
Vice President - General leadership of WCU-TV 5, especially in absence
of President. Vice President would also be in charge of doing minutes
and emailing it to members (essentially, VP and secretary job would be
combined).
Treasurer - In charge of the money, budget, etc. MUST get a budget
together by November for the following school year...
Programming Director (Channel 5) - In charge of the line-up of shows
we have on the channel each week...must keep track of how long a show
has been up, and is in charge of literally taking new shows off the
computers and putting them on Channel 5.
(Jon Schafer has already been chosen to be our YouTube Programming
Director. Welcome aboard Jon!)
If you want to run for one of these positions, you MUST email me and
tell me why. On Monday, you will pitch yourself to the whole WCU-TV 5
group and explain why you want to run for exec board. Then we will
vote.
