[SIC List] Elections!

Hello Everyone!

On Monday April 26th we will be holding elections for S.I.C's new
executive board. These elections are open to everyone! At the meeting
we will have each canidate give a short speech then we will vote
through an online survey during the week. We encourage everyone to
run, it is a great oppurtunity and lots of fun! If you would like to
run for a position please email me at hm65...@wcupa.edu and tell me
what position(s) you would like to run for and a quick bio about
yourself. Thanks!

Here is the list of the following positions you can run for:

President:
-delegate responsibilities
-be there with support and to answer any questions members of the
exec. board or general organization members may have
-report to an collaborate with Dr. Lordan
-be approachable so that things within your exec. board and group run
smoothly
-be able to help in any way needed

Vice President:
-Help President with their duties.
-Help oversee all plans and projects

Treasurer:
-Keep track of organizations budget.
-Take care of any finances needed for trips or events.

Secretary:
-Take minutes at each meeting
-Email group through Google Groups to notify of meetings and events
-Book rooms for all meetings and events

Public Relations:
As a public relation officers you are responsible for letting the
organization know when meetings. You should make fliers for each
meeting and not only post them around main hall, but also put on in
every Communication Studies professor. You are also responsible for
promoting activities and events that our organization may hold. You
must also be able to work with all the other executive board members
in a friendly, helpful, and cooperative manner.

Event Planning:
-Help plan Communication Career Night
-Plan other events such as fundraisers, relay for life, etc.
