With spring in full bloom, many activities begin to lend themselves to
the outdoors. Among many of these outdoor functions lies running
races, which are not only a great way to exercise, but also to raise
money!
The Chester County Running Store is hosting its annual Race Against
Racism this year in downtown West Chester to benefit the YWCA Chester
County, and we need your help!
This 5k run/walk, which will be taking place on Sunday, April 26th,
will require about 25 people to help with set up and to be stationed
along the course for the duration of the run.
Volunteers will need to arrive before 1 PM on the afternoon of the
race at the YWCA, located on 123 N. Church Street, West Chester, PA
19380.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering should contact Ellen
Albright, the YWCA Volunteer Coordinator, at
volunte...@comcast.net, or via phone at
610-692-3737.
If you’re interested in learning more about the race, either for
volunteering purposes or to actually participate in the race yourself,
feel free to contact Ellen Albright at any time.
Funds from the race will benefit the YWCA, so please come out and
enjoy the day with us!
