Upcoming events:
MARCH 25
ESPN’s Chris Martens (an award-winning television producer)will be on
campus on Wednesday, March 25th to give a talk entitled Conversations:
The Art of the Interview.

Mr. Martens’ background includes 25 years in sports television, “with
the most recent 17 years in progressively responsible positions at
ESPN.” He is the winner of six Emmy Awards and two Ace Awards.

He will speak at 7:30pm in the Philips Autograph Library.

The Philly Ad Club is hosting two panel discussions and all
Philadelphia-area college students are invited. Professionals
representing the many different fields within Marketing Communications
will be panelists and will share their experience, answer your
questions, and provide you with valuable industry contacts.

Directions and Parking for the Villanova Event:
Meeting Location: Villanova University, 1011 Bartley Hall. Bartley
Hall is located on Ithan Avenue, just north of the intersection of
Ithan and Lancaster Avenue, across the street from the Pavilion, VU’s
modern-looking basketball arena.
Getting to Campus: Here is a link to a webpage with driving directions

Use the map for Main Campus—East; Bartley Hall is Building No. 4 on
the map. Free parking for visitors is available in the main Villanova
parking lot on Lancaster Avenue between Route 320 and Ithan Avenue.
From there, walk up to Ithan Avenue and cross Lancaster Avenue to get
to Bartley Hall.
Villanova is also accessible via SEPTA’s R5 Paoli line. Take it to the
Villanova Station, which is on the West end of the campus. When you
leave the train, take the pedestrian tunnel under the tracks and walk
straight through the walkway under the Mendel Science Center. When you
come out from the arch, head toward St. Thomas of Villanova Church
(the stone building with two spires). Turn left at the back of the
church and walk down the driveway until you reach Bartley Hall.

Directions and Parking for the Temple Event:
The Tuttleman building is located on 13th Street and Montgomery.
Parking is available at the corner of 12th and Montgomery ($12 fee).
Also, Temple is easily accessible from every regional rail line and
the Broad Street subway.
