Patrick,

As long as the email including private information is not cced to a google group email list, then it should be ok. All other communications should be cced to at least one google group for public documentation purposes based on our policies.

At this time we still will be turning in our 1099s in physical forms along with the rest of our taxes. From what I see, we are still required to turn in the 1099 that comes from the IRS with the specific inc for scanning. Therefore we can not just print the online form and fill it out, and still need to order the forms.

It seems that the deadline has been moved up a month, which means that our deadlines should have moved up, but this is new information. Usually when the IRS changes deadlines, the first year they do so it is a little more lax than the future. According to the website, an organization must fill out a form 30 days in advance to be able to do online filings of 1099s which we have not done. Therefore for at least this year we will NOT be doing online filing, and so it would be better for us if you snail mail the physical 1099s from the IRS.

Hopefully Mike can do the same for SPARC Poetry

Thanks for checking in. :)

Jay

Hello all,

May this find you both well!

I have just finished the rest of the BAC 1099 info (all that does not go on the WCTC 1099 submission and will submit that on behalf of BAC).

As for the figures that I sent you for what goes on the WCTC 1099 forms, should I just input that info into 1099 forms and then mail them to you? Or it looks like we can do PDF filable 1099 forms now, should I just email them to you (or is that not secure enough)?

Jay,

Sounds good. I will have those in the mail by today or tomorrow. Also I have shared the new spread sheet we are using for the 1099 forms it has the same figures I sent you a few months ago plus what is going on the BAC 1099 forms. Also I had to compile more  of Collin's work into the WCTC 1099 form due to the lack of additional paper forms and removed Jamey Kennedy from the WCTC 1099 who is now only on the BAC 1099.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Warmly,
Patrick

Hello all,

I am missing social security and address for Jaz Sufi. Jay, do you have this info for her? Mike said he cannot find it either. Other than Jaz's info we have everything set and ready to mail.

Hello all once more!

I was about to mail off the 1099 forms but I am not sure if there is a form that I can take for BAC records? I have taken the two out for the employees, can I also take the one for the State Tax department for BAC records?

I will mail them off as soon as I know if BAC can keep one of the forms.

Warmly,
Patrick

I think that is fine to keep thme state forms. We Don’t usually turn in state forms. We will let you know in the future if we need them. Additionally we will hold copies if you need them in ththe future as well. :)
