Jordan,

I apologize for not getting these funds to you as quickly as I usually do. The check was written to CommUnity Life Network and transferred from there.  Bottom line me and Patrick were not communicating for a month, and although I did ask 3 times about where the funds should go through the phone tree, it did not get resolved until now. Again I apologize for the inconvenience from our administrative issues.

The funds have now been deposited, and there is about $2,500 in the account so it seems like you should be fine. The Santa Cruz Legendary fee is 5% as far as I understand, and $950 was deposited into the account.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and feel free to call anytime.

Take care,

Jay

Hello Jay and Jordan,

Jay, Jordan is the project lead for our Santa Cruz based branch of the Digital Storytellers program. Jordan has just informed me that a $1,000 check was sent to Alvarado Row intended for the Santa Cruz branch of Digital Storytellers. It may have ben made out to the Santa Cruz Legendary collective or to Digital Storytellers. Do you have record of receiving this check? The Santa Cruz project requires these funds in order to pay people for workshops that have been conducted already so we need to locate these funds ASAP and deposit them into the Santa Cruz program US bank account which ends in 7020. The 3% fiscal fee would still need to be deducted from these funds.

Jordan, Jay is the chair of our fiscal sponsor, the grant check from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation was sent to him.

Thank you both and let me know if there anything else I can do to resolve this issue,

Warmly,

Patrick Ohslund, MA
