Urgent Request for Contributor Name and Addresses for 2017

Hey Everyone,

This email is to inform you that the WCTC need specific and urgent Tax documentation on all donations and contributions, including grants, for all of 2017 and 2018, and will need that documentation into the future including for 2019.

We have not had to do this in the past because we were smaller back then, but once we were over $100,000 we hit a flag and now need to detail each and every contribution we receive that is over $5,000, no matter where it comes from.

Please start with 2017, as we need this information within the next 24 hours if possible.

For each contribution that is equal or more than $5,000 this is the information that we need:

• Legal Name of the Organization or Contributor
• Address of Organization or Contributor
• Total amount from that contributor for the entire year (again start with 2017).

We will follow up with details on each transaction that we can find in our records that we are lacking information and documentation for. Hopefully we will not need too much, once we go through everything ourselves, but it is good to verify with you as well.

I got the shared spreadsheets. Those are great. 

From my review, it says that the column is Dates of Fiscal Year: 6/30/17-6/30/18

That implies that the first half of 2017, 1/1/17-6/29/17 may be missing. Still

Here is our Final Spreadsheet we are working on verifying all addresses and amounts:

We will just do our best with the short timeline we have. It doesn’t need to be perfect. If we find better information after we will file an amendment, that way we don’t have to pay exorbitant fees :) 

This is the first time we have ever submitted this information, so we can make sure everything is accurate and perfect for 2018, and amend 2017 as needed.

Hello all,

Ah yes the fiscal year was changed just this year to focus around the school year, so everything for 2017 is actually the calendar year and was incorrectly marked on our budget, I will change that now.

 

I have correctly labelled each funding source with its corresponding program and have added the address and name for our donor.  The other addresses that you need are from SPARC funding sources and Mike will have that info.

Thanks so much Patrick, I think we have everything we need from you, it is very detailed. :)

So now it is just a matter of learning back from Mike on Sparc. Maybe he is busy this week, either way if I don’t hear from him I will just go ahead and file what information we do have, and then we can amend if mike corrects it.
