Good news, progress on constitution, new learning opportunity for all of us!

Just want to spread the good news Janice shared with me last week in supervision.
Lucinda is well on the way in her work with the New
And we will be able to make the changes we need in order to progress on a solid foundation into the future. Most exciting is we should be able constitutionally to deepen the opportunities for NPO’s outside Cape Town to participate actively without having to travel.
Constitutions are normally dry boring work. Let us use this process as a learning skills training for all NPO’s, useful in the governance of our own projects. Janice is thinking of a conference so members from all over W.C can attend. We could make the meeting to workshop the Constitution part of a Conference, learn a lot for our own NPO’s and adopt it thereafter at the same time at a Special Meeting
We discussed a few other important matters to possibly be dealt with at the Conference such as lobbying re The Children’ s Act.
