Has anyone heard anything from Sonya? I emailed her last week and have had no reply. I hesitate to phone or mention a refund until everyone has weighed in on this.

Not a word Roberta and frankly quite bothered by it. I was going to email her also but thought I should first wait for a word from you. If you would like me to do anything on my end, please let me know. I would like to help.

Did you receive a check from Sonya or is that one that went directly to Jeb? I think emailing would be fine but don't mention anything about a refund until we have heard from everyone and know what the situation is.

Sonya sent me her check and I sent it directly to Jeb.
I will email her tonight and won't mention anything regarding a refund.

Roberta,

My memory is not the greatest lately but I am pretty sure Sonya sent her check directly to Jeb. I had a few late checks come to me I sent out individually to Jeb. However, I remember Sonya was emailing Gary and her told her to send her check directly to Jeb at the late date. Do you remember that Gary?

Wow. What a great memory you have, Sue. Now that you say it, I remember too. Yes I told her to send it directly to Jeb and later regretted it because of the problems we had with Jeb.

Okay Gary,,since you were the last one to have contact with Sonya, please give her a call and see what you can find out. Did she actually send a check to Jeb? Why did she change her mind about coming to the reunion? Please don't mention anything about a refund until we all know what the circumstances are. If she paid and was unable to attend, then we can consider a refund, at least for the boat ride. Keep us posted on what you find out. Thanks.

I just had Sonya on the phone for a long conversation. I don’t have much time, so I’ll have to keep this short.

She was extremely disappointed that she couldn’t make it to the reunion. She had two reasons, but the most important was that her best friend had terminal cancer. In fact, she just died a couple of days ago.

Sonya thought that the check for the boat and the evening meal was sent to Sue, although she didn’t sound very sure about that. I didn’t say anything about reimbursement, but she said that the class could keep her payment if it could be used for future reunions.
