Class reunion 2017

Hi Sid,

 

That is very good news! Thanks for starting the planning process.

 

I am enclosing the latest information on the class. It is in PDF format. If you prefer, I can also send it to you as a WORD document. The information is up to date, as far as I know. I am concerned concerning Andy Gibbs, because the emails I send to him are returned with the indication that his address doesn’t exist anymore. I hope he is well. I haven’t had the time to check on that.

 

Also, I could send you the email addresses as a list, if you like.

 

I offer to help you in any way possible (telephone and/or emails). By the way, following our 57^th, several of our classmates volunteered to help with the organization of the 60^th (Sandy, Bev, Billy, Ruthie, Joyce, Lennie, Steve, Sue, and me). Ruthie and Steve volunteered to pilot it all. I set up a Google group especially for that, with all the volunteers as members. It is a very practical means of communication via internet, as one only has to type the address of the group and all members receive the message. If you like, I can revive that group, adding anyone you wish to the list of members. I may have to remove some as well, for time passing has a way of dampening the enthusiasms of some. Please let me know if I should do this or just disband the group.

 

As for your question, the 15^th of July seems to be a good date choice. I might suggest to the organizers that it be published as soon as possible, for summer plans are often made long in advance. As for me, the enthusiasm for traveling diminishes with every passing day. I was even thinking of not attending the 60^th for that reason. However, your announcement stirred up very fond memories of the last reunion and our beloved classmates. I realize that for some, yours truly included, it may be the VERY last chance to get together. For that reason, I could consider attending.

 

I know you don’t mind, so I am sharing your email and my response with those who volunteered for the 60^th.
