57th financials

Hi Everyone,

Success! We even lucked out on the weather. I'm limited in what I can send because I'm not at home and won't be for some time but have attached the financial report. You'll notice that we aren't even close to what I had estimated yesterday. Abigail's charged us more than they had quoted Sandy. We ended up paying $25 per dinner rather than the $ 22.75 that Sandy had been quoted. We are left with $41.58. I obviously won't bother calling the school district tomorrow about contributing to a scholarship fund etc.. Please talk it over and let me know what you want me to do with the remainder of the money.

Hope everyone gets home safely and will keep in touch.

Hi all,
I just got another idea for the use of the extra money which was left over from the reunion. 
I know that there was one class member who really had to make some real sacrifices to attend the dinner: Rose Acresti. She has been very faithful in attending our past reunions. Perhaps there are others as well, but I would suggest giving the little extra money to her (or splitting it among several) as a sort of "scholarship" for our next reunion. 
What do you all think of that?

I think your heart  is in The right place, Gary.  But I think asking Rose to designate  money In Her fund for three years would be too hard. For her.

Again- thanks for all you did to help make the reunion such a success. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one(God  willing). Maybe we could just donate the remainder of the money to a local charity. Will do whatever the majority decides.
