Hey,

Naser was thinking of booking Camaraderie one day next week. I'd be
able to make Monday or Tuesday for an after-work hack session,
starting as early as 5:30 or so. Anybody else in?

Yeah sure. I'll be able to get there around 6 most likely.

Sorry, I meant to ask which day would be best for people.

Naser, can you confirm if the space is available?

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the late response, I'll check for space availability and get
back to you. Tuesday works for me.

And in case the space is unavailable, does anyone know a good cafe or
quiet pub in the area that would have wifi? I'd still be interested
in meeting up.

We can meet up at Ryerson. Either sit  at the library or anywhere else on campus. My account is still active there so we have Internet access.

Yaser

So it looks like the space is not available today. We can meet at
Ryerson Campus at the same time (5:30 at the intersection of Dundas
and Victoria, in front of Jack Astor's).

What do you guys think?

Closer to 6 is looking better for me today, but otherwise sounds good.

Cool. I'll be heading to Ryerson soon. Feel free to call me once you're around the area: (647) 833 6314

Hey, Elisa and I will probably arrive around 6 as well. Just to throw
it out there, we can also work in UoT for future meetings (provided we
can get into a building), because both Elisa and I are current UW
students, so we can log into eduroam (and so can you since you know
us!!).

I'll probably shoot you a text when we get there since I'm still on
pay-as-you-go hahahahahha... ))))):

Coolio. I'm very excited about this. As for future meetings, if we can plan a regular time to meet, we can send the schedule to Comraderie in advance and have the space reserved. The only issue that I'm not sure about is WiFi access there, which I will inquire about the next time I email Rachel. Otherwise, UofT sounds like a good place to meet.

FYI: Heather emailed me asking for advise on how to make it known to the RHoK community that the project is open source and that we are continuing to work on it.

My suggestion was to update the problem definition on the RHoK site that it is open source, and put a link to my blog where I intend to post regular updates as well as the technical documentation.

If you guys have any other suggestions (e.g. set up a wiki), I would love to hear them.

There's already a bit of wiki attached to github hosting:

https://github.com/vanaltj/wcs-mobile-android/wiki/Wound-Classification-System---Android

Is the web (and other?) components of WCS source hosted somewhere?
The parts should link to each other, and if you aren't already wedded
to something I suggest using github since the android component is set
up there.

I'm trying to keep my life relatively free from schedule outside of
$DAYJOB right now. I've got a handful of side projects on the go, and
am most productive when I simply hack when I have ideas and
motivation. That's not to discourage the booking of a regular time at
Camaraderie - say a certain evening every two weeks would be my
suggestion - but if I was having a $DIFFERENT_PROJECT kind of day in
terms of motivation I wouldn't want anyone to feel put out if I didn't
show up some times.

We should sort out these sorts of 'project infrastructure' questions tonight....

Cool. As for the web PHP component, I was planning on hosting it as a sub-site of my own website (just as a sample), and have the source code available there for anyone who would want to deploy it on their own servers.

In regards to the meetings, I too agree that it shouldn't be more than once every two weeks, as we all have other stuff to do, and I guess the face-to-face meetings would involve demonstrations and collective brain storming and integration of components.

Looking forward to discussing the details in an hour.

Hey, Elisa and I are actually going to be a little late, since she
needs to release today.

Not a problem. Just SMS me when you're around the area.

Cheers,
