Friends,

I believe in animal rights more than human rights now when human activities destroy all the habitat especially in the ocean that plant planktons  (^o_) support oxygen there.

Save the Polar Bears

Save Polar Bears

Polar Bear (Paul A. Simone)

Polar bears are just one of the many species that make their homes in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Take Action!

Sign our petition to President Obama encouraging him to continue to oppose Arctic Refuge drilling legislation and to support stronger protection for the most important onshore denning habitat for America’s threatened polar bears.

Dear Tamaki,

Thank you for signing up and joining over 800,000 supporters and donors who are committed to protecting critically endangered species and the habitat they need to survive. Please take action today!

Polar bears den, as they have for centuries, on the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, mercifully free from oil spills and the disruption that comes with oil and gas drilling activities.

But that could all change soon, as U.S. House Speaker John Boehner continues to push for dangerous drilling in the most important onshore denning habitat for America’s threatened polar bears.

Urge President Obama to stand up for polar bears and other wildlife. Sign our petition encouraging the president to continue to oppose Arctic Refuge drilling legislation and to support wilderness designation for this important and pristine place.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is the crown jewel of America’s National Wildlife Refuge System – and the most important onshore denning habitat for U.S. polar bears.

But Speaker Boehner is now advancing legislation to open up the most sensitive pristine parts of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to destructive drilling.

An oil spill would be disastrous for the polar bears and other wildlife that lives here, but there are other risks too. The noise and disruption that comes from drilling and road construction can disturb denning polar bear mothers, causing them to abandon their cubs to die.

Help save polar bears. Urge President Obama to support stronger protections for polar bear homes.

America’s polar bears are already threatened by climate change that is robbing them of vital habitat. The last thing they need is an eviction notice from Big Oil. In fact, many scientists say that U.S. polar bears could disappear in the wild in the next few decades without our help.
>

Defenders of Wildlife is fighting hard to help animals like the polar bear survive the threat of climate change, but we can’t save these animals without your help…and we can’t ensure that they will be around for future generations if Big Oil is allowed to drill in the habitat they need to survive.

Be a part of the solution. Sign our petition and tell President Obama that you want him to continue to oppose drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and to support stronger protections for vital polar bear homes.

Respectfully,

Jamie Rappaport Clark, Defenders of Wildlife Jamie Rappaport Clark

Freedom

a conditioning song of synactiveness
in memory of my classmate, late Seima Aoyama, Full-moon, September, 2009

Andante Maestoso

Pigeons, sea gulls, sparrows, nightingales. (whistle, whistle, whistle)
Freedom fly to me, freedom fly to me. (Fine)
*1 My friend crashed into one of twin towers on the plane Boston - New York!
Blaming words, closed hearts, flame of hatred, fear, revenge after revenge.
Boston - New York plane crashed into one of twin towers, 2001!
Freedom fly to me, freedom fly to me. (Da Capo)

*2 Savage days an' savage nights in our deserts, how many days can't we sleep overnight?
Blaming words, bombs, planes, tanks, leukemia, fires, guns'n child soldiers.
Savage days an' savage nights in our deserts, how many days can't we sleep o'er night?

*3 Call of greetings, call of blessings, exchange kissing, shaking hands an' hugging tight and tight,
Peace in our hearts melts freezing hatred shaping into love and love.
Call of greetings, call of blessings, exchange kissing, shaking hands, hugging tight an' tight!

I Love You Crestine (Courtesy of Ich Liebe Dich by Ludwig van Beethoven)
English version on 10/20/2009

I love you Crestine as you love me,
From the morning to the night.
Never even one day my and your hearts tear apart each other.
Ah my tears and your pains we heal them each other;
You mother me of my sufferings,
I share our delight and delight, our delight.
May Goddess' blessing be over you, you make my life joy,
God protect you, keep you with me, protect and keep us together.
God protect you, keep you with me, protect and keep us together,
Keep and keep us together, keep us together!
