Here are complete details about the Davis tourney ... Please note
carefully the important items at the TOP ...

IMPORTANT: People under the age of 18 who will be attending or
participating in the tournament, and who will not be accompanied by a
parent or guardian, will need to complete the attached waivers in
advance and have their parent or guardian sign the waivers. Others can
print and complete these documents in advance or on-site.
EVERYONE will need to bring a photo ID to access the facility.
PLEASE forward this to your team members.
USRA MEMBERSHIPS: For new or renewed memberships, EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST
PROVIDE a CHECK or CREDIT CARD information; NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

START TIMES
- Players can arrive as early as 8:30am
- The tourney will start at 9:00am
- Start times will be available on Friday
ACCESS TO ARC
- UC Davis does _not_ have an open door access policy to the ARC facility.
- Participants NEED TO BRING A PHOTO ID
- Guests NEED TO BRING A PHOTO ID
- I will NEED GUEST NAMES by Friday afternoon.
- You will need to sign a liability waiver and get a wrist band just
inside the entrance to the ARC; there will be a table set up for this.
TOURNAMENT COSTS & FOOD
Team captains will need to collect in advance either cash or checks for
the following, per person, and bring this to the tournament:
- $10 tournament registration fee � pay by cash, or checks made out to
"John Bardos" (I pay for the food, racquetballs, USRA sanctioning, etc.)
- You must be a USRA (USA Racquetball Association) member ...
Under 21 = $25
Over 21 = $50
Limited one event membership = $20
EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST PAY BY A SEPARATE CHECK made out to "USA
Racquetball Association", or provide credit card information; NO CASH
WILL BE ACCEPTED for USRA memberships. This is only required if the
person is not already an active USRA member; let me know if you need
assistance determining USRA status. For more details, see

Lockers - People can use day lockers on a first come first served basis
and should bring their own locks.
Towels - You will need to bring your own towels.
NOTE: As with all of the facilities that we use, we need to be careful
about where we place bags, chairs, etc. Please keep bags and chairs next
to the courts, and away from any exercise equipment, open areas, and
walk ways.
DIRECTIONS
For most people heading north-east towards Sacramento ...
- Take I-80 East toward Sacramento
- Merge onto Highway 113 (North, toward Woodland)
- Take the Hutchinson Rd. exit
- Merge right off exit
- Turn left on Larue Rd
- The ARC is on the right.
- Go into parking lot.

The schedule and start times will follow.
NOTE: For the Men's draws, Davis and Sac will not have 1st round matches
at 9am, but can expect 2nd round matches at 9:30am.
The Women's round robin schedule will be adjusted to play non
same-school matches before same-school matches.

DIRECTIONS
- At some point you will take 880 / 17 South - Santa Cruz
- Hwy 17 over the mountains is a winding mountain highway ... It's only
about 20 minutes of hills and curves ... Take your time
- After the highway generally flattens out, you will pass through Scotts
Valley, then you will see signs for Highway 1 North / Half Moon Bay
(veer right).
- You will pass through two traffic lights. After the second traffic
light, you will take an immediate right hand turn onto Highland Ave
- Turn left onto High St.
- Turn right at the "base of campus" - Glen Coolidge Dr. The base of
campus is pretty low key.
- Turn left onto Hagar Drive at the 2nd traffic light.
- The East Field will be the first set of buildings on your right.
- On the "3_USCS_East_Field_Racquetball_Courts.jpg" map, park at the P,
enter at the E, and racquetball at the R
Overflow parking is available at "East Remote Parking Lot"

Attached is the schedule, and there's a slight change to Mens III to
make the first round matches not involve Davis or Sac folks.
The women's RR are not scheduled to the individual match ... Since it's
RR, the matches can run in any order, and we will be flexible in the
morning based on early arrivals, and trying to run non same-school
matches earlier.
