Our first tourney of the season is Sat Nov 2 @ UC Berkeley.

We will need your final final team rosters by end of day (ok, midnight)

WE WILL NEED YOUR FINAL ROSTER by end of day / midnight MONDAY OCT 28th.
PLEASE provide full names, which division (one division per person)
- Men's A, B, or C
- Women's A or B
and the ranking of your players within each division.

TOURNAMENT START TIME

The tournament will start promptly at 9 am, Saturday Nov. 2nd.

The building opens at 8 am and if you arrive early
you can start to warm up on the courts.

We will post draws and first round start times Friday Nov 1st.
Please plan to arrive at least a half an hour before your
start time.

TOURNAMENT COSTS & FOOD

- The tournament costs $10
About $2 for sanctioning and racquetballs, and the rest for food
that is provided. There's generally enough food for breakfast, lunch,
and snacks all afternoon, but you may want to bring additional food and
drink.


- ALL PLAYERS MUST BE A USRA MEMBER
Under 21 = $25
Over 21 = $50
Limited one event membership = $15

- TEAM CAPTAINS MUST COLLECT MONEY IN ADVANCE FOR THEIR TEAM.
The team captain needs to have money - cash or check - for the entire team
collected and ready to submit at the start of the tournament.

Make USAR membership checks payable to "USA Racquetball".

PARKING
Parking is available ...
- There is a parking structure right next to the gym
- 2450 Durant Ave, about 2 blocks from the courts
- 2020 Kittredge St, about 5 blocks from the courts
- On street, 2-hour limit, bring a lot of quarters and
pay attention to the time.

Lockers - People can use day lockers on a first come first
served basis and should bring their own lock as locks
often run out.

Towels - Towels are provided in the locker rooms, workout
towels are also available in the lobby - all no fee.
You should bring at least one towel of your own.

Hi All,

1) The UC Berkeley RSF no longer allows sports bags into the main area
(where the courts are) - you will have to put bags in lockers in the
locker rooms. Free locks are provided, and you can bring your own lock.

This is a bit of an inconvenience, but it's the way it is. Please plan
accordingly ...
- you may want to split a very large bag in two smaller bags to fit into
locker(s)
- you will have to carry w/o a bag your racquet and gear and such for
your match.


2) I will need the names of _all_ guests who may want to enter the RSF
to watch.
If we don't provide people's names in advance, they may need to pay $12
per person to enter.
So, send as many names as you think might make it, and it's ok if they
don't.
