Hi All,
Just a quick note that our next tourney is coming up in about 1 month at
UC Davis, Sat. Feb. 8.
I will need rosters by Mon. Jan 30 midnight.
The usual: arrive at UC Davis around 8am, tourney starts at 9am, and we
will finish around 6pm.
Everyone needs to be a USRA member, and I encourage everyone to join
online prior to the tourney at

and choose Members -> Join USAR

- UC Davis does _not_ have an open door access policy to the ARC facility.
- Participants NEED TO BRING A PHOTO ID
- Guests NEED TO BRING A PHOTO ID
- I will NEED GUEST NAMES by Friday afternoon.
- You will need to sign a liability waiver and get a wrist band just inside the entrance to the ARC; there will be a table set up for this.
TOURNAMENT COSTS & FOOD

Team captains will need to collect in advance either cash or checks for the following, per person, and bring this to the tournament:
- $10 tournament registration fee – pay by cash, or checks made out to "John Bardos"
(I pay for the food, racquetballs, USRA sanctioning, etc.)
- You must be a USRA (US Racquetball Association) member .. You can check on your membership status online at
http://usra.org/
Under 21 = $25
Over 21 = $50
Limited one event membership = $10
EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST PAY BY A SEPARATE CHECK made out to "US Racquetball Association", or provide credit card information; NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED for USRA memberships. For most people heading north-east towards Sacramento ...
- Take I-80 East toward Sacramento
- Merge onto Highway 113 (North, toward Woodland)
- Take the Hutchinson Rd. exit
- Merge right off exit
- Turn left on Larue Rd
- The ARC is on the right.
- Go into parking lot.

Parking is free!

ALSO: All non UC Schools need to complete the attached group liability
waiver. It's an insurance thing - UC students are all covered by the
same insurance even at different UC schools. Please print and get
signed in advance - you will need this for everyone who's playing to
enter the building.

round matches between people who have played against one another within
the last tourney or two.

Here again is all the tourney info, with the draws and schedule
attached. See you tomorrow!
The Mens 1 can decide to do a round-robin with 7 players - a lot of
matches, so they would be shorter matches; see the attached rr draw.
With the 7 person draw, it may happen that 1 or 2 people only play 2
matches, so I've added a consolation (bragging rights) match. You all
can decide what you'll want to do tomorrow morning.
