Greetings,
Apologies if you receive this message twice, but I'm sending it on my
firehouse list and the Washington County Cyclists list, too.
The 11th annual Turkey Day Ride departs from the Ivins City Park at
10 AM on Thanksgiving. Every year we ride to Sun River and back, a
relatively flat ride, and at a reasonable pace, with regrouping. This is always
a semi-leisurely social ride, and no one gets dropped. Everyone is welcome. The
idea is to burn 1,500 calories or so before the Thanksgiving meal. We've had
anywhere between five and thirty-six riders show for this ride, and it's always
fun. If you ride a straight line and you are a safe rider in a group, we'd love
to have you.
The following weekend, November 27 and 28, the Ivins firehouse
rides start at 11 AM.
I hope to see you Thursday.
Paul
