Hello friends,
I'm grateful to be added to this group for sharing data. I'd love to know if anyone has a good source for Idaho wildlife and migration data, potentially from IDFG? I'm relatively new to mapping for Idaho and I'm not sure where to start looking to build up my data sets. A preliminary search of the geocloud/atlas didn't give me what I was looking for.

I'm looking for any ungulate migration data (elk, pronghorn, mule deer) for Idaho.

Thank you for any help in advance!

Hi Roma,
Our list serve is just getting off the ground, so it might be a while before you start seeing responses.

The State game and Fish folks are usually my first stop for this sort of information, but I often find the data to be scarce. Sometimes you can find academic journal articvles and reach out to the authors. Dr Joel Berger at Colorado State University has done some interesting work on this topic.
The link to the pronghorn study is broken, but I think this covers it: https://wyofile.com/path-of-the-pronghorn-at-high-risk-of-being-lost-new-analysis-finds/

Good luck.

Joe
