Here is a route for this Saturday.  Starting point is the church on FM1314 half mile south of  Hwy 242 across from the Exxon station.

Anyone know the condition of Old Shell road and Danbury Bottom.  I know we have done Danbury bottom but don't recall ever using Old Shell road.

Route is 85 miles.  Will probably be my last weekend ride for the year.  My eye surgery is scheduled for 12/13.

Old Shell Road has about 1.25 miles of unpaved road on the FM 945
side.

Dabney Bottom Road...was unpaved the last time I rode it several years
ago...not sure that has changed. It may be passable if it's been
dry..not sure.

OK, thanks. Sounds like the road won't be any worse condition than the
portion of FM1375 we rode a couple of weeks ago.

Jim,

Need to re-route as worried that Dabney Bottom could be a mudpit after
all the rain we've had (still unpaved). It's generally an unpleasant
couple of miles with some soft sand/mud and large stones.

As Bill mentioned Old Shell road is pretty rough for those 1-1.5
miles, as an alternative Tony Tapp is fully paved.
