I absolutely agree....My goal would be to start at 6:15am (sunrise is
at 6:20) both days.
So, for Saturday, a 6:15am start gives us about 5 hours of decent
total time available to be back by 11:15 latest. At a 20 mph ave with
+30-45 mins of break over 1-2 stops....I'm figuring a ride of no more
85-90 miles.
How about this 86 miler starting from behind the Exxon at Woodlands
Pkwy/2978.....loosely based on the Ironman Texas route...but covers
roads we ride all the time.
