May 3rd - Willis - 78 miles (primary loop) or 103 miles (primary + second loop)

All,

OK, here's my idea for Sat May 3rd. Current forecast is for glorious
weather (mid/upper 40s at start warming to 70s)!

Start location: Kroger in Willis.

Distance: 2 loops (78 mile primary loop that ends back at Krogers
with a 25 mile secondary for those that want to go farther)

Start time: 6:30 meet, 6:45am depart (sunrise is 6:36AM)

My buddy Orlando (Alvarado) is coming up to ride. Orlando is joining
the Alps trip I've organized for July and is working himself into
shape...Also, may get the other Jim (Wambaugh) from Kingwood to come
over and join.

Overall, group will need maintain a moderate pace this week to get
everyone in together ..... I figure 18-19 mph ave max

All,

Super 77 miler on Sat!. Great to see Nadir and Jesse back riding with
us (Mike A, Jim Mc and myself). A little chilly early but soon become
perfect weather. Nice spirited pace too.....so much so that we were
all gassed at the end of Loop 1 and all cut short (that's the problem
with 2 loopers....too tempting to stop after loop 1).

Had a great rest of the weekend hanging with friends at their place on
Richard Chambers Reservoir....hope everyone else enjoyed the mild
temps too.

I'm out the next 2 weekends (in the UK)....back on 5/25.
