Hey guys,

Katharine I am not sure where I put the template you sent out, but here are the slides I have put together. We can definitely discuss further whether or not we want to include the value net in the presentation tomorrow.

Did we ever get results from the survey back??

Also attaching my spreadsheet for everyone’s reference.

Best,

Lauren

Thanks Lauren. The plan was for Barbara to send out the survey last week, but I got an email from her on Friday saying she hadn't yet because she was working on including an incentive. Jie, she was wondering if we can include a discount code or certificate on the last page of the survey?
I was hoping we would have initial survey results to share with her team on Monday, but that clearly doesn't seem possible. How does everyone feel about sharing the other parts of what we have? Would people prefer to wait until we have survey results?
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hey guys,

If everyone has put effort into working on their parts, it seems like it would make sense for us to go ahead and touch base with Barbara, if for no other reason than to let her know the direction we seem to be heading and get her feedback. Then we can incorporate the survey results into the final presentation – if we end up getting results that change our initial hypotheses I think that would be OK, and maybe even more interesting. I also get the sense that the more time we can spend with Barbara and the team, the more input we can get from them and the more useful this project will be for them.

What does everyone else think?

Best,

Lauren

Hello,

For what it's worth, I'd wonder how much value our recommendations have if they don't reflect any info on what customers actually want... Ultimately, it could save us time if we can tailor our response from the start, rather than having to go back over and change it later... (and clearly Barbara can't be expecting anything immediately if she hasn't even bother to send out the form!)..

That said, I'm very happy to do it either way! Hope you guys are well,
theresa

Hi all,
Would love to get everyone's preference between the following two options (not sure how much progress everyone has been able to make on workstreams so I'll let everyone decide what they are most comfortable with):

1) Meet tonight as planned at 7pm and get all slides together we can (thank you Lauren - the slides you sent out look fantastic) and then meet in person with Barbara tomorrow to show her what we have to date.

2) I can tell Barbara that since the survey has not yet gone out we'd like to wait to do a formal check-in with her team when we can incorporate the results of the survey. I will either meet with her in person on my own or call her and give her a general status update on the project and tell her what direction we're headed in to make sure they agree with what we are thinking.

Let me know what everyone prefers. I'm comfortable with either and think she'll understand either way given the hold up on the survey and want everyone to feel good about what the work stands before we share with her.

Thanks!
-Katharine

Hello,

If it's not a huge imposition on Katharine, I'd vote for Option #2. I think that would not only allow us to target our recommendations to the customer survey results from the start, saving time later there (e.g. I'm at a loss on the positioning statement now, etc.); but it might also express to Barbara that we really need her participation -- i.e. it would give her an incentive to actually mail out the survey.

Either way, look forward to talking and hope you're all very well!
theresa

I must say that without the customer survey, I haven't got anything really to share.... don't know about anyone else?

I agree. I don't have much more to add, or much more done sadly. Without the survey I just don't see how we can have much more to add in terms of consumer insights. I can't meet tonight anyway as I mentioned a while ago, but let me know if you guys decide to and ill try and get you some work product asap.

Think I agree with Katelyn and Theresa here, can we maybe just get her thoughts on the survey?  It's been through like a few revisions already, and it seems like she just takes her time, maybe we can just ask her to push it along?  I'm beginning to feel that the small additions that come from her in the space of a week or two isn't worth the wait anymore.

I am fine with whatever; I have not had a chance to think about the inventory/sales data Hank provided yet, but I just want to be wary of providing them analysis that just says what they already.

If we don’t meet today I will probably look at the data over Thanksgiving.

Ok, it sounds like most people would like to wait on the survey data. I will provide Barbara with an update tomorrow. Feel free to keep sending updates on data though so that when we get back from Thanksgiving we can put more of the analysis together.
Thanks!
