Oh! I'm so happy to hear that someone actually uses this feature =). It was a bit of work, and I had completely forgotten about it. I've created an issue for this here: https://github.com/cubing/tnoodle/issues/167. If it's an easy fix, I'll see about squeezing it into 0.8.2 (which will be coming out soon thanks to the 666 bug you reported).

If you already generated scrambles, it's easy to redo them:

- Start TNoodle 0.8.1

- Open the old generated .zip file.

- Open the .html file in it, and click on the link.

Note that just double clicking on the .html file won't work, as it needs access to the .jsonp file in the zip file as well. You'll need to extract both of those files for the html file to work. The discussion for improving this can take place here: https://github.com/cubing/tnoodle/issues/164.

 

- Your browser should load the TNoodle interface, ready to regenerate the same set of rounds.

(You should only do this if you need to re-generate scrambles or from scratch. Don't ever look at the scrambles and decide to regenerate based on the scrambles you saw.)

Thanks for your work.

However, I found something strange with the scrambles for 2by2 and 4by4. For 2by2, only LDB moves appear rather than RUF, and 4by4 have the similar problem for double layer moves.

Is anyone else have the same issue here?

Thanks to Chen Shuang and Jeremy Fleischman for their work, as well as the Board and many Delegates for testing a pre-release version.

Please keep in mind that 0.8.0 must now be used for all competitions, and the current official version must always be used unless the Board grants an exception. (The beginning of January was a larger exception due to extenuating circumstances.)

Ok, fixed here: https://github.com/jfly/tnoodle/commit/eaf3aa6beb7e7697cded15761273e91a5937c0c3. This should go out in the next version of tnoodle, possibly later today, depending on when/how the WRC reacts.
