Updates about our power campaign. FDC BOT agreed to campaign on power (among others) based on the general design presented during the said meeting. See attached file.
 
As part of the implementation, we convene the members of the Task Force on Power, and we agreed on the following initial activities: (Next meeting is August 26, 3 to 5pm at FDC office for other remaining tasks/preparations).
 
Most welcome ang gustong tumulong at mag-volunteer :-)
 
1. We need to identify TARGET areas/communites which we will unite and focus our attention for them to participate in our activities specifically our power-off protests.
 
2. Part of our build-up activities are the following:
 
Unifications among power summit participants
Mobilization during ERC, JCPC and other possible venues to register our protests and calls
Education-drive among our members and networks
Released posters (1st wave muna), stickers, leaflets, teasers
etc...
 
3. Schedules of ERC hearings regarding our active cases on power rates:
 
Sept. 5 2pm (Stranded Debts) Ortigas Office
Sept. 6 2pm (Stranded Contract Costs) Ortigas Office
 
Sept. 9 9am (Fit-RE) Ortigas Office
Sept. 16 9-11:30am (FiT-RE) Ortigas
Sept. 27 9-11:30am (FiT-RE) Ortigas
Sept. 29 2-5pm (FiT-RE) Ortigas
Sept. 30 9-5pm (FiT-RE) Ortigas
 
Sept. 8, 2-5pm (NPC Basic Generation Charge) Cebu City
Sept. 15 2-5pm (NPC Basic Generation Charge) Davao City
 
Tagalog leaflets (still being edited). Member organizations are highly encourage to organize their own mobilizations/pickets, coordinate lang.
 
As of today, 48 days countdown until October 11.
