Hello fabulous WBWC volunteers!

I am checking to see if any of you would be interested in volunteering with WBWC for the Huron River Day on July 15th.  Here is a link about the details:  http://www.a2gov.org/government/communityservices/ParksandRecreation/Pages/HuronRiverDay.aspx

WBWC will conduct bike valet and have an information table.  It looks like we will get some support on volunteers for bike valet, but we will probably still need a few more volunteers for the valet and manning the information table.  Apparently, last year we valet parked 30 bikes!

The event is from 12PM to 4PM.   We will be set up at Gallup Park.  The WBWC bike valet/information table will be right under the huge tree at Gallup.  If you were driving in it would be right after you enter the park on the left side.  I have a link to a map with our location below.  Karen Moorhead will be the WBWC Board member available during the event.

If you bike to the event, you get a free canoe rental!  Since it will be so hot, I am thinking that we just want each of you to cover a 1-2 hour shift.  That way you can also enjoy some of the festivities.

I am going to try something new this time and try to set up shifts in doodle.com.  There is a link below and all you need to do is follow the link and fill in your first name, last name, email address and check the hour slots that you can work.  Don't forget to include your name and email so I know who you are and I have a way of contacting you before the event about any other details.

Apparently there will be some food there, but you should plan on bringing your own food and beverages in case.

If you have any other comments or questions, please don't hesitate to email me.

See you on Sunday!
