I've always liked winter riding.  Better on one of those calmer, sunnier days, late winter, when the cardinals are getting all excited about spring coming.  Pretty, sunny, still pretty cold.  It's like going cross country skiing or for a run in those same conditions.

Reminds me I need to swap in that rear studded tire before I bike to farmer's market in the morning...
