Walk Bike Washtenaw August Advocacy events and updates

Hello,
Just a few things this week and the weeks ahead I wanted to share.

This Thursday join the Bike Alliance of Washtenaw and WBW for a BBQ picnic Handle bar Happy Hour Collaboration!

Division Street Bikeway Extension Public Tours and Open House

The Division Street Bikeway Extension will continue the two-way bikeway from Catherine Street and connect with the multi-use path that crosses the Broadway Bridge.

• Walking Tour Option 1: August 25 (Tuesday) at 5 p.m., will start at Catherine and Division intersection and finish at Broadway Street.
• Walking Tour Option 2: September 11 (Friday) at 1 p.m., will start at Catherine and Division intersection and finish at Broadway Street.
• Informational Open House: September 23 (Wednesday) from 5-7 p.m., at the DDA offices (located in the Kerrytown Shops on the 2nd floor, right next to V2V clothing boutique).

Birds and Bikes 8/29
9am Mitchell field
We will meet at Mitchell Field, ride along the B2B west to Barton Nature Area and Bird Hills for the birding with unplanned stops along the way for any other birds that want to show up. The plan is to roll right at 9am this time.
