Reminders about three events: one is for my nonprofit (Neighborhood Institute), one is for Ypsi Urbanists, and the last is for WBW's annual meeting.

November 8, 5:30pm: "Brewed in the Mitten" fundraiser

If you're looking for a place to come together with like-minded pro-bike/walk/housing changemakers, sip some delicious beer, and support causes you care about, please join us!

What: "Brewed in the Mitten" beer tasting fundraiser for Neighborhood Institute
When: Friday, November 8, 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Venue by 4M, 1919 S. Industrial Highway, Ann Arbor
Cost: $40 (21 & over only) includes tasting; food and other beverages available for purchase

Our tasting guide, Patti Smith, is a prolific storyteller and writer.  Her most recent book is Michigan Beer: A Heady History.  Join us as she shares fascinating historical tidbits and guides us through a series of delicious brews from Michigan!

November 19, 7pm: WBW Annual meeting

(From website) You're invited to Walk Bike Washtenaw’s Annual Members’ Meeting! Non-members are encouraged to attend. On Tuesday, November 19th from 7-9 we’ll meet at Conor O'Neill's (virtual option available) to discuss ideas that can help Washtenaw become more pedestrian and bike-friendly in 2025 and beyond. We will also vote for our board members, hear from some great speakers, learn about great new bike rides, upcoming events in the area and innovative transportation projects planned for Washtenaw County.


Time: Tuesday, November 19th, 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Location: Conor O'Neill's, 318 S Main St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 and Online via Zoom


This event is free of charge and open to anyone; participants need only register in advance. A link to join will be sent to registrants before the meeting. There will also be a raffle for prizes donated from local shops for members to enter!
