Seventh Street resurfacing updates and Transit Tuesday Talk reminder

Thanks to questions from Council member Akmon, the July 21st Council Agenda Response Memo includes details regarding pedestrian and cyclist safety improvements anticipated in 2026 for the 7th street corridor.

  As part of the SS4A implementation, we plan to install a range of quick-build treatments along the corridor designed to support safer travel for all users. These include: 

• Upgrading buffered bike lanes to protected bike lanes using vertical delineators; 

• Pavement marking enhancements to increase visibility and safety; and 

• Hardened centerline treatments at key intersections:
o 7th & Pauline
o 7th & Stadium
o 7th & Madison
o 7th & Liberty

July Transit Tuesday Talk: Ann Arbor

The Transit Tuesday Talk (6p-7:15p ) will be with TheRide. This talk will be held at the Ann Arbor District Library in downtown Ann Arbor as well as on Zoom.
