KC WLAN Event - on 4th Nov @ Charing Cross

As discuss in the committee event, i have taken the baton on the Nov Event… 

I have asked my Director David Johnson to have a brief chat for us on the World of Currency… title are yet to be confirmed (7 things you should know about the World of Currency in 2014???) but it will be a small scale event in a function room in a pub in Charing Cross Road. 

10-15min slide presentation

15-20min Panel Q (MC by me perhaps) + some Q&A

Shall we say 10 pound again with 1 drink + nuts? the function need a minimum spend of 500 pound (with 50 deposit), and it hold about 60 sit down or 100 stand up.. i m aiming 50 for the time being 

let me know if i should alter anything before i post the event on line

As you are only looking at 25 to 35 minutes max talk (incl Q&A) you would have to then move attendees to another venue so I wouldn’t advocate using either on this date.

 

However having just see Amira’s email below and offer of additional speaker we could use Arup if you are now looking at a minimum of 1 hour for the speaking element (as we can get T/C refreshments as normal).

 

I wouldn’t use Saint Gobain as it gets complex with catering facilities as we have to physically ‘buy and bring in’ any T/C refreshments so prefer to look a other options.

 

I will ask Arup ref 4 Nov- you can then also advertise at no charge to attendees- and come back to you but only one the basis that we have 2 speakers/ a longer speaking slot.
